Publications about Hopscotch

Hopscotch is a theoretical model and a webtool to help novice researchers generate solid and well-informed research designs in Social Sciences and Education. It was originally developed in 2014 as a tool to help graduate students develop qualitative research designs.

However, in 2018 after conducting a thorough formal evaluation of both the model and the webtool, we decided to also incorporate quantitative and mixed/methods research designs.

article iconHopscotch 2.0: an enhanced version of the Model for the Generation of Research Designs in Social Sciences and Education (Jorrín-Abellán, 2019) describes the process followed in the evaluation of the initial version of Hopscotch, as well as the development of the current version.
